IEIS IMPIANTI proposes the following street lamp kits, guaranteeing maximum performance and style in the Italian fashion.


Today, the applications of photovoltaic lighting systems have reached optimum reliability and performance levels. Just think that the first prototype dates back to 1985. Today, the "SUN STREET LAMP" kit is available in various solutions specifically because it is applied in different situations both in terms of climate and of social requirements. For example batteries can be housed under the support pole (inside a well) or on top of this support inside in a metal structure.

Every “ SUN STREET LAMP” kit is composed of:

  • Photovoltaic module (of the type and power defined in the kits, complete with galvanized steel pole head bearing structure);
  • Street structure (complete with lamp, electronic ballast and arm with coupling to the pole);
  • Control and management unit;
  • Maximum battery charge safety unit;
  • Stationary storage battery;
  • Receiver (electronic or manual);
  • Connection wires.

NB: not included in the kit

  • Pole;
  • Pole fixing plinth;
  • Well for containing batteries.


The photovoltaic module is fixed to the pole by means of a structure with coupling to the head of the pole with the following characteristics:

  • hot-galvanized steel sections;
  • stainless steel nuts and bolts;
  • anchoring bracket for poles of different diameters, from a minimum of 89 to a maximum of 102 mm. (specify the pole diameter when ordering);
  • resistance to the wind up to 150 km/h (for tapered pole, h 6 m, dia. 102 at head of pole).

SLC structure

The SLC structure has a fixed inclination of the photovoltaic field of 55° for the zones between the poles and tropics to enhance battery charging during the winter, 5° for the equatorial zones and 25° for the tropics.illuminazione

The batteries are housed in a container at the head of the pole which is an integral part of the support structure.

SLL structure

The SLL structure makes it possible to tilt the modules at angles ranging from 10° to 60° compared to the horizontal plane.

The batteries are placed in the ground in a trafficable well or on a road column.

The road type kit for low-pressure sodium lamps is complete with road structure supplied in three different types:

PARABOLA VP: for SOX 18 and SOX-E26 lamps

IPERBOLE VP: for SOX-E26 lamps


The technical features of the structure are:

  • reflector in high-purity aluminium, optimally worked, pressed, polished and oxidized;
  • die-cast aluminium fixing system suitable for arms with a maximum diameter of 60 mm, angle adjustable from 0° to 120° with graduated scale;
  • electric wiring with components with the IMQ mark and electric wiring with double insulation;
  • flat glass cup;
  • ceramic lamp-holders type BY22d for SOX, PROTECTION RATING IP65 and IP44.

Photovoltaic modules

Every kit is provided with photovoltaic modules dimensioned for the type of lamp used and for the solar radiation characteristics of the installation site. The photovoltaic modules are in crystalline silicon and comply with the standards, IEC1215 and EN61215 CLASS ii EQUIPMENT.

Stationary storage battery

The battery of every kit is composed of two units in series of the stationary type with mono-blocks made of stress-resistant plastic.

Technical specifications:

  • normal voltage 24 Vdc;
  • composition: 2 mono-blocks, 12 Vdc, in series;
  • total capacity 55 Ah, 70 Ah and 100 Ah depending on the place and lighting body;
  • max permitted auto discharge 3.8% per month;
  • number of cycles at 75% discharge depth above 1000;
  • weight of a single battery from 25 to 40 kg.
